Bulldogs from Frederikshavn won the Women´s and Rødovre the Men´s Championship title after two thrilling finals on Saturday.

Brønderslev entered the final as favorites but Rødovre turned out to be the strongest team in the final after surviving a massive pressure in the beginning of the match. In the second and third period, Rødovres defense was tight and in the other end the team from Copenhagen found the net when the chances occurred.

Once again Brønderslev missed a gold medal chance while Rødovre celebrated their second Danish championship victory. The first was won in 2007. The champions will play in the EuroFloorball Cup Final round.

Once again the women´s final match was a battle between Bulldogs and Outlaws from Frederikshavn, the city that host the Euro Floorball Cup in October later this year. Beside the championship trophy a ticket to the EFC was also at stake.

Last year Outlaws won a tight final – this time Bulldogs copied that achievement through a 4-3 victory.

In the final minutes, Outlaws chased the equalizer and left the net empty, but Bulldogs survived the pressure and celebrated the fourth women’s championship.
