The regular season in the three biggest cities in Australia has finished. Due to the size of the country there is no national league at the moment, but the problem is solved by creating own leagues for the cities. Therefore several cities (Canberra, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney) run their own regular season which is called Elite Series.
This year the winner in Melbourne is Pakenham Squishees; they won for the very first time.
In Sydney the winner is the Northern Beaches Stingrays, they have won the trophy several times in the past few years.
In Western Australia, Perth, the winning team in A-Division is the WA Kookaburras FC. It is the Kookaburras second title win in a row. Their second team won also the B-Division in Perth for the first time.
