The reigning champion, SSV, will play in the  Men´s League finals after defeating Josba in the semis for the third time yesterday with 8-3. 

Especially the second line performed well with four goals scored by Tero Tiitu and two goals by Jani Kukkola. SSV will play with full strength in the finals as all the players are in good health.

In the other semi-final pair SPV has two victories against Tapanilan Erä´s one. On Friday Erä will be forced to win in a televised match. With a victory SPV would make their way to the finals for the first time and this would guarantee their first ever medal in the Finnish League. The previous two seasons SPV has lost the bronze medal match.

In the Women´s league the reigning champion, Classic, will meet Happee in the finals. Both teams won their semi-final opponents with three straight victories.

In the last Classic – PSS match the score in the third period was 2-2 and it was only in 58.16 when Classic scored their third and the decisive goal of the match and semi-final series.

Happee won more clearly over NST and was leading already with 5-0 in the beginning of the second period. The final score was 6-3.

Happee will play in the finals for the first time in the team´s history. Last time Happee won a medal in the Women´s League was in 1997. The bronze medal match will be played between the reigning Finnish cup champion, PSS, and NST.
