Aberdeen Oilers Floorball Club were crowned Scottish Champions on Sunday 8th March after only two years in the British Floorball Northern League. The Oilers competed in the Northern League against six other Scottish teams. By winning all three games last Sunday at Glenrothes, the team took the championship title from last years winner´s and record championship holder´s, Chapel, by a hard fought two points in the league table. Aberdeen ended the season on a high with eleven wins out of twelve games.

Next on the agenda is the Scottish cup, which will be fought out between the top 4 teams in the league: Aberdeen, Chapel, Edinburgh and Dundee. Additionally, this year´s national tournament is taking place in Edinburgh on 2nd – 3rd May, when teams from all over Britain will compete for the national championships.
