The Australian Floorball Association (AFA) developed a Club Incentive Programme in 2007 for those clubs that registered to the Programme. The Programme had been very benefcial as now 10 clubs have received financial support from AFA for their efforts to develop the club.
The clubs were assessed based on the following criteria:
- Membership growth over 2 years
- Participation in tournaments
- Development of training sessions
- Involvement in organising/running social competitions
- Other activities involved in developing the sport
The AFA now advises the winning clubs from two states:
WA: Revolution Sharks
VIC: Melbourne Huskies
These clubs will each receive $500 in cash and a $500 voucher from the AFA sponsor Salming.
Other clubs have also been awarded grants and we will be forwarding Salming Vouchers for $250 to each of the following:
ACT: Western Creek Pirates
NSW: Glebe, Northern Beaches Stingrays
WA: Kookaburras, Redbacks
VIC: Spartans, Vikings, Foxes
