Henrik “Henke” Larsson, one of the best all-time football players in Sweden, made his debut for FC Helsingborg Floorball team in the Swedish Super League yesterday. There were 1 968 spectators following FC Helsingborg´s sudden death victory over Jönköping in the House of Sports in Helsingborg.

Also a new record was set in the amount of spectators watching the match on TV4 Sport as 210 000 followed the match on TV. The previous record was 70 000 TV spectators 

Jönköping was leading the match with 4-1 after the first period. Larsson played his first shift in the beginning of the second period and delighted the crowd by giving some excellent passes to his team mates.

Henrik Larsson has played over 100 international matches for the Swedish national team in football and represented Sweden in the Football World Cup 1994, 2002 and 2006 and in the European Championships 2000 and 2004. In addition Larsson has played in Celtic, Manchester United and FC Barcelona and has been elected the best football player in Sweden in 1998 and 2004. Before his professional football career Henke was also a promising floorball player.

Lars-Gunnar Tjärnquist, the President of the Swedish Floorball Federation, looks positively on Henrik Larsson´s floorball comeback and welcomed Henke to the Swedish Super League. Also in general Mr. Tjärnquist looks positively at cooperation between different sports, as knowledge can be shared.
