During the IFF Central Board meeting (per capsulam) held on the 1st of October the IFF CB approved the membership application from the Romanian Floorball Federation (F.R.FL.) and now welcomes the new federation to the International Floorball family as provisional member number 47.

The Romanian Floorball Federation’s headquarters are located in Miercurea Ciuc, which is the capital city of the Harghita County in the centre of Romania. Floorball was first presented in Romania in 2006 and now Floorball is played in several schools. At the moment there are five Floorball teams in Romania and several tournaments have also already been played.
