The National Olympic Committee of Georgia has recognized the Georgian Floorball Association on the 18th of December 2007.

The Georgian Men´s national team has also registered for the 7th Men´s WFC C-division that will be played in Bratislava in Slovakia April 21st-27th 2008.

The number of Floorball players has increased steadily in Georgia and according to the latest statistics there are 600 licensed Floorball players and 12 active Floorball clubs in Georgia.
