The Finnish Cup Finals were played last Friday in Energia Arena in Vantaa, which is also the venue for the EuroFloorball Cup Final round to be played in January. Both Men´s and Women´s Cup got new champions as Porvoon Salibandyseura (PSS) and Tapanilan Erä from Helsinki won the titles for the first time.

Porvoon Salibandyseura (PSS) played versus SC Classic from Tampere in the women´s Cup Final. Classic got into a two goal lead and could hold their lead until ten minutes into the third period when PSS evened the score to 2-2 .

The final score was then to be decided after a penalty shoot out competition. When only Hanna-Kaisa Savolainen from PSS managed to score a goal in the penalty shoot out, PSS won their first ever Cup title with 3-2.

Tapanilan Erä got into an early 3-0 lead in the Men´s Cup final versus Josba from Joensuu.

Josba got into the game in the second period when the teams scored one goal each. Then Tapanilan Erä dominated the match again in the third period and took their first ever Cup victory with 7-2. Jani Helenius from Erä had a great night with 3+1.
