The RACC approved UHC Dietlikon´s application, to use skirts in stead of shorts in the EFC 2007/2008 Final round.

The request was put forward to the IFF Rules and Competition Committee (RACC), since it is within their jurisdiction to deal with such requests. The RACC has denied similar requests previously and replied that the question of skirts shall be handled in connection with the 2010 edition of the Game Rules.

The RACC discussed the application from UCH Dietlikon and was of the opinion, that the rule will also be discussed by the IFF CB in connection to the game rules of 2010 and that women’s teams therefore shall be given the possibility already now to apply for the use of skirts. Such applications, with description and photos of the skirts, shall be sent to IFF latest two months before an IFF event. The design of the skirts shall be a one-piece-skirt-and-shorts design.

The RACC has approved the application of UHC Dietlikon by way of exception and the team can play with skirts in the EuroFloorball Cup Final Round 2007/2008.
