Poland won the exciting B-division final against Germany with 3-1 and will play in the A-division in the Women´s WFC 2009 in Sweden.

After the first period the game was still a tie 0-0 but after 26.44 Monika Waksmundzka scored the 1-0 leading goal for Poland. In the third period Germany scored an equaliser after goal by Katja Timmel. Poland was however the more active team today, which resulted in two more goals and the first A-division spot for Poland ever.
