The Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE and the IFF have agreed on the Men’s and Women’s World Floorball Championships’ TV rights for the upcoming years. The agreement covers the rights for Women’s WFC in 2023 and 2025 and the Men’s WFC in 2024 and 2026. The package also includes rights for U19 World Championships.

The IFF Secretary General Mr. John Liljelund is delighted about the ongoing cooperation with YLE.

— It is very important for us that the floorball championships are shown on YLE also in the future because this supports the growth of our sport. Our cooperation has continued since year 2006 which tells about the interest of floorball among the sport fans, Liljelund describes.

YLE will also show the Men’s World Floorball Championships 2022 on their channels. The event is played in Zurich and Winterthur, Switzerland from 5th—13th November 2022.
