The Women’s U19 WFC 2022 was scheduled to be played in Wellington, New Zealand in May 2022, however, due to continued travel and entry restrictions, Floorball New Zealand advised the IFF that it was not possible for the event to go ahead as planned.  Since that decision, last November, the IFF have been in discussions with several associations who have expressed an interest to host the event, but have still been unable to make a final confirmation.

— It is clear now that the event will definitely not be played in May, as scheduled. Our discussions with a possible host continue, and the event being held in September 2022 is the most likely option, at this time, says IFF Event Manager Sarah Mitchell.

As was the case with the postponed U19 WFCs in 2021, even though the event dates may change, the age eligibility of players will remain the same, which will mean that only players born 01.01.2003 or after but not later than 03.05.2007 will be eligible to participate.

IFF will inform all participating teams as soon as a host agreement is confirmed.
