The 2020/2021 transfer window opened on Wednesday, July 1st 2020 and remained open for almost 7 months before closing on Friday, January 15th 2021. 

The final date for submission all necessary International Transfer documents will expire on Friday, 15th January. The documents submitted after Friday 15th January will not be processed. The transfer window for season 2021/2022 will reopen on July 1st 2021.

Extension of transfer window

The transfer window will remain open for the return transfers to countries where the Leagues were suspended due to covid-19 as per additional transfer rule due to covid-19 that was decided by the IFF ExCo on 5th January 2021.

A player who has transferred from a member association during the ordinary transfer period, where the series are stopped or paused due to the Covid-19, can transfer back to the country the player transferred from also after the 15th of January.

However, if the player has played in the country the player transferred to in a relegating, promoting, play-out or play-off match/matches, the player is not entitled to transfer before the actual transfer season 2021 starts on the 1st of July 2021. Normal transfer fees apply, except the return transfer will always be handled as an express transfer but only normal fee to be paid.
