More and more players use their chance to temporary move to Sweden while their home league is suspended due to covid. Manuel Maurer together with Swiss National team goalkeeper – Pascal Meier will strenghten Växjö Vipers and help their “old” Swedish team in the upcoming SSL games. Luca Graf is back in SSL after 7 years, this time to play for IK Sirius IBK. 

One of the greatest talents of Swiss Men’s floorball, Manuel Maurer will transfer to Växjö Vipers where he played in 2018/19 season and scored 57 points (35+22). He is expected to help Vipers until 21st December and play at least 6 SSL games. Floorball Köniz has played 5 games this season where Manuel scored 10 points. Before the league suspension, Köniz was placed 4th in the NLA. His indyvidual performance was recognized several times by the National Team coach, Manuel was a part of Swiss team at the last three Men’s WFC and The World Games.

For the 30-year-old Pascal Meier, the MVP at the last Men’s WFC 2018 in Prague and the best goalkeeper at the 2016 Men’s WFC in Riga, Latvia, it is the second attempt in the jersey of Vaxjo Vipers. He spent two years during 2013-2015 in Vaxjo, where now he will together with Manuel Maurer spend some time until the Swiss League restarts. His club Grasshopper Club Zurich is currently on the second position in NLA.

7 years ago Luca Graf played for Vaxjo Vipers where he reached the play-offs, to now return to the best league in the world in the jersey of IK Sirius IBK. The 30-year-old Swiss National Team captain has enormous National career where he debut in 2013 and was regulary called to the National Team since then. He won two Swiss Cups, with Floorball Koniz in 2017 and with Grasshopper Club Zurich in 2017.
