The Russian Women´s Championships have been played and the team Nauka-Burevestnik from Arhangels are the 2009 Russian Champions.
Three teams battled for the championship title and the Nauka-Burevestnik team lost only one match during the series and gathered three points more than the second placed team, Nizhniy Novgorod.
