The Finnish Association for Sports Journalists (Urheilutoimittajain Liitto) elected the best athletes in 70 different sports. In floorball, Sami Johansson from Classic, was awarded best athlete in Finland for 2020. 

The 27-year old Sami Johansson is currently leading the F-liiga player statistics: in 16 matches he has scored 27 goals and assisted 19. During last season which was interrupted by corona, Johansson was the regular season top scorer with 75 points (54+21) in 23 matches.

The-four time Finnish champion has during his 11 league seasons played 247 regular season matches and gathered 490 points, 338 goals and 152 assists. In 70 play-off matches the number is 119 (78+41).

In the men’s national team, the 2016 and 2018 WFC champion has played 56 games with 50 goals and 26 assists. In the U19 national team, Johansson finished 18 goals and 13 assists in 18 matches and won the U19 championship in 2011.
