The President of the Polish Floorball Federation, Mr. Marek Chomnicki, has decided to resign from his position due to business and family reasons.

Mr. Chomnicki shares his memories about his term as President of the Polish Floorball Federation with the international floorball family:

Dear Floorball Friends,

There comes a time to change in life and this is my case. After 6 years, for business and family reasons, I decided to resign from the position of the President of the Polish Floorball Federation on September 5.

It was a time of many challenges and sacrifices. At that time, we participated in 11 World Championships and 6 Qualifiers, hosted 6 Polish Cup tournaments and 3 Polish Open, and what is particularly important to me, the participation and organisation of The World Games 2017. A unique and special tournament, which is the immediate base of the Olympic Games.

During these few years we have faced many organisational and financial problems, but we have always managed to overcome them. I owe it all to the wonderful people with whom I had the pleasure to work with. First of all, I would like to thank all of you for many sacrifices and your time. Then, I would like to thank you IFF family, with who I have opportunity to work. I have always been impressed by your professionalism. I hope we will meet each other in the future.

Today, life presents me with new goals and challenges. I wish the future President of the Association perseverance in developing such a beautiful discipline.

The IFF wants to thank Mr. Marek Chomnicki for the smooth co-operation during the years and wishes him all the best for his future endeavours!
