The Swedish Superfinals will continue to be arranged in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm in the coming years. The new agreement is extended until 2023.
Since 2002, the Swedish Floorball finals have been decided in one single match both on the women’s and men’s side. The concept started in Hovet and the finals have also been arranged in Ericsson Globe and Malmö Arena over the years. Ericsson Globe has hosted the most Superfinals and will continue to host more events. Swedish Floorball Federation and Stockholm Live have signed an agreement that extends over the next three years, 2021-2023.
The 2020 Superfinals would have been played on April 25, but because of the coronavirus, the event was cancelled.
– We had obviously been looking forward to have had the finals with us this year as well. But now we have to make sure that 2021 and the coming years’ finals in the Ericsson Globe will be even better experiences, said Stockholm Lives CEO Marie Lindqvist.
