After lost last season due to Covid-19 measures, players finally stepped into the rink in the highest men’s league in Slovenia.

First Slovenian Floorball League (1. SFL) features six teams in 21/22 regular season, as top clubs will compete in 3 Nations Floorball League scheduled to start in the beginning of 2022.

On Saturday, both teams from Škofja Loka were victorious, while on Tuesday Polanska banda beat Polycom Brlog despite home team was in the lead 3-1 after second period. PB’s Luka Stanonik was the man of the comeback, scoring a natural hat-trick.

Insport A confirmed their role of favourites with a statement win over Olimpija Ljubljana. Borovnica, multiple national champions that are in rebuild mode, played strong away game against Insport B, who were saved by Nejc Peklaj’s penalty shot in the dying minutes.

If the first round is indication on how competition will develop, we are about to see huge fight for Final Four tournament. The next matches will take place on Saturday, 23rd of October.
