The IFF Executive Committee (ExCo), in conjunction with Czech Floorball, has taken the decision to postpone the Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2021 due to the Covid-19 situation. The Men’s U19 WFC 2021 was originally planned to be played 28th April – 2nd May, but the event is now scheduled to take place 25th – 29th of August 2021.

– With the postponement of the event, we believe that it will be easier for all qualified countries to participate and thus increase the entire event’s sporting potential. At the same time, we also hope that there will be some relief worldwide regarding the Covid-19 pandemic so that we can start a new Covid-free season with this tournament, says Petr Chvojka, Secretary General of the Men’s U19 WFC 2021.

The 11th Men’s U19 WFC will take place in Brno, at the Vodova Arena – the same venue that hosted the Women’s WFC in 2013.
