At the latest IFF Central Board meeting, the decision on how the 3v3 world rankings will be calculated going forward was confirmed.
The 3v3 world rankings are completely separate to those for adult or U19 teams. They are a cumulative calculation of placings at all the 3v3 WFC events that have been played (currently 3). The calculations will continue to include up to a maximum of 5 consecutive 3v3 WFCs. Both the Women’s and Men’s World Rankings and their points allocation total (determining position are below)
The final placings of each nation from 3v3 WFC 2024, 2025 & 2026 are combined to give the total points
Teams that have equal total points are ranked according to the final placing from the most recent 3v3 WFC (i.e. the team with the highest final placing receives the better ranking)
Teams that have not participated in any one of the events, receive a ranking equal to +1 of the total number of teams participating (eg. if 10 teams participated, all non-participating teams receive a placing of 11)
A maximum of 5 consecutive 3v3 WFC events will be used in the ranking calculation in the future
