
The Men’s World Floorball Championships 2026 will be played in Tampere, Finland, from 5th – 13th December. Media accreditation is now open and applications can be submitted until 6th November 2026.
A total of 16 teams will compete for the world title in Tampere. Host country Finland qualified directly for the final tournament, while the remaining places were decided through continental qualification tournaments held earlier this year.
The teams are divided into four groups for the preliminary round. A total of 48 matches will be played during the nine-day tournament.
The preliminary-round and placement matches will be played at Hakametsä Ice Hall and Kauppi Sports Center. From the quarterfinals onwards, the decisive matches will be played at Nokia Arena, with the new world champion to be crowned in the final on Sunday, 13th December.

Group A: Latvia, Norway, Finland, Switzerland
Group B: Sweden, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic
Group C: Singapore, Slovenia, Thailand, Estonia
Group D: Philippines, Japan, Canada, Denmark
The 2026 tournament will be the 16th edition of the Men’s World Floorball Championships. Finland are the reigning world champions, having defeated Sweden 5–4 after extra time in the 2024 final in Malmö.
