On Sunday, October 20, the organizers of the 2020 Champions Cup in Ostrava launched a ticket pre-sale for the highlight of the international club floorball. Officially called the IFF Champions Cup will be played for the fifth time in the Czech Republic and for the second time in Ostrava. However, it will be the premiere of the Final Four format, offering an intense floorball experience for all fans.

The tournament will take place during the second January weekend in the RT Torax Arena in Ostrava with a capacity of 1,900 seats and 2,500 standing places. Only daily tickets are available for all four games of the day for CZK 290, children under three years of age can visit the Champions Cup for free. Standing tickets will not be released until the seating tickets are sold out.

Eight teams from seven clubs and four countries are currently preparing for the January Champions Cup. Half of the participants have changed since January 2019. Finland will be represented in Ostrava as well as in Gävle by floorball players from Classic and floorball players from SB-Pro, the former team of Denisa Ratajova. The men of Storvreta IBK from Sweden will again not be missing. Täby FC became women’s champions in the country of Three Crowns in April.

Partial change took place also in the field of Czech champions – while the women of Vítkovice will be able to build upon their excellent performance from Gävle, this time the Czech champions come from Vítkovice as well and will replace Mladá Boleslav. A complete replacement took place in Switzerland. SV Wiler-Ersigen arrives in Ostrava with Radek Sikora on the bench and Kloten-Dietlikon Jets with Natalie Martinakova and Hana Konickova on the pitch
