Great form and maximum points in the Finnish league. Plus a last year’s Champions Cup title in their pocket. All this clearly defines one team – Classic from Finland.

The Finnish top league has a clear hegemonic leader. Classic, who will soon play in Ostrava, leads their competition by 18 points after 18 rounds, winning all matches in regulation along the way. And there is one more thing that might terrify their opponents – Classic’s current goal difference is 115 goals!

The dominance is also apparent in the individual statistics, which are topped by three Classic players. Sami Johansson leads the stats with 64 points (45 goals + 19 assists), followed by Ville Lastikka (36+16) and Eemeli Salin (28+24), both with 52 points.

In the last five matches, Classic allowed no surprises and defeated all of their opponents without any troubles. And in January they confirmed their great form against LASB too. Last five matches in Finnish Salibandyliiga:

Classic – LASB 8:3
ÅIF – Classic 4:14
Tiikerit – Classic 3:9
Indians – Classic 3:7
Classic – Happee 7:5

In Ostrava, Classic will face the Swiss champions from Wiler on Saturday, 11th January at 19:30.
