The 15th Men’s World Floorball Championships will be played in Malmö, Sweden from 7th – 15th December 2024. This will be the fourth time that Sweden has hosted this event and the second time in Malmö. In 2006, Malmö played host to some of the group matches, but in 2024 it will be the centre of the Floorball world attention with all 48 matches played in two venues – Malmö Arena and the Baltic hall.
In total, 32 teams registered for the tournament – 22 from Europe, 8 from Asia Oceania, and 2 from the Americas.
Sweden, as the host country, is the only team that receives direct qualification. All other teams will participate in regional qualifications being played in January – February 2024. From these events, 15 teams will qualify – 11 from Europe, 3 from Asia Oceania, and 1 from the Americas.
After the final 16 teams are confirmed a ballot will be held to confirm the playing groups. Group A and B:
Basket 1: Ranking place 1-4
Basket 2: Ranking place 5-8
Group C and D:
Basket 3: Ranking place 9-12
Basket 4: Ranking place 13-16
The final round will be played with 16 teams divided into four groups.

Teams placed 3rd and 4th in group A and B and the teams placed 1st and 2nd in group C and D make it to the first play-off round (played before the quarter finals).
