2021 UPDATES
Men’s WFC will be played December 3rd-11th 2021 in Helsinki, Finland. All the volunteers already chosen in 2020 are warmly welcome to join the Volunteer Team also in 2021. Please note that we can’t offer accommodation or compensate travel costs related to WFC 2020.
The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in December 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We closely follow the situation and provide more information, if there are any major affects for volunteering at WFC 2020. At this stage, the arrangements of WFC move ahead as planned.
GOOD TO KNOW
Essential part of the World Floorball Championships 2020 are the amazing volunteers. As a volunteer, you are a crucial part of making the championship event successful and at the same time you can learn and improve your skills in many areas in an international atmosphere.
The Men’s World Floorball Championships are played 3.-11.12.2021 in Helsinki, Finland. The preliminary round and quarter finals will be played at the Helsinki Ice Hall and the semi-finals, bronze medal game and the final game at Hartwall Arena. The volunteer tasks mainly are placed for tournament dates but also few days before the event start.
Please read the descriptions carefully and take a close look at for example the language and other requirements needed. We hope that all volunteers are committed to the process from the start, but of course unexpected obstacles may always occur.
The volunteers chosen will be divided into smaller teams that are led by team leaders. We will arrange volunteer meetings in Autumn 2021 and all the volunteers chosen should attend the meetings. More information will be sent all the volunteers chosen to the tournament.
Our key priority is to provide a safe event for all participants. We will require two vaccinations from all WFC 2020 participants including volunteers. It is also possible that vaccinated will be tested during tournament (paid by the event organization). We follow the instructions of the authorities and the unified line of the IFF.

Due to the global pandemic, we are recruiting volunteers only in Finland in 2021.
