Health Security Team 

In this team you are part of making sure the tournament event is safe for everyone. You take part in disinfecting measures when needed and make sure there are necessities for maintaining high hygiene available and report about possible shortages. You also guide participants in matters related to health security, for example maintaining adequate distance. Language skills needed: Finnish or English.

 

Event Construction Team 

As a team member, you will take part in the event construction and maintenance at the tournament arenas. The event construction starts a few days before the official tournaments and is completed when the event is has been deconstructed and the arenas are emptied. Language skills needed: Finnish or English.   

 

Access control (VIP-areas, Zones)   

You guide tournament participants, spectators and media representatives and make sure they know the allowed routes and areas for them in the arenas (e.g VIP-areas) and control access between different zones. You co-operate with the arena’s security services. Let us know, if you also possess a valid security steward licence. You are at least 18 years old. Language skills needed: Finnish and English.  

 

Event Partner and Stand Assistant  

You help the event partners with their stands at the arenas. You also assist building other stands and activities in the arena hallways and during the tournament you are ready to solve problems and answer to inquiries related to stands. Languages needed: Finnish, English is a plus. 

 

Ticket Sales 

In the ticket sales team, you sell the tournament tickets at the arena ticket office and coordinate ticket deliveries (group bookings, VIP-tickets, printing tickets). You can also guide spectators if they have questions about the tournament. Great customer service skills are needed even in a very busy environment. Language skills needed: Finnish and English. 

 

Event Guide and Eco Team  

You guide tournament participants and spectators near and inside the tournament arenas. You are well prepared with the tournament info. If you don’t know the answer to a question, you know how to find out the answer. You are familiar with the arenas and their surroundings. You also guide participants in questions related to recycling, using the public transportation and drinking tap water. From time to time, you are working at the info stand. Great customer service skills and active approach are needed even in a very busy environment. Language skills needed: Finnish and English, mastering other languages is a plus. 

 

Accreditation Team  

In the accreditation center, you prepare the accreditation passes (take photos, print and finalize) and hand them over to the right persons. You make sure all the details are correct and solve unclear cases. You guide participants about the allowed routes and areas in the arenas. Language skills needed: Finnish or English.   

 

Tournament Office  

You have a thorough knowledge about the tournament, and you share information to the teams and volunteers when needed. You make sure the office is functional and there are enough materials and office supplies needed. Great customer service skills and active approach are needed even in a very busy environment. Language skills needed: Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English. 

 

Volunteer Services Team  

In volunteer services you make sure that all the volunteers have good conditions during the tournament. In volunteer services, you for example help with the volunteer gear and provide information about the volunteer food services. Volunteer services also include maintaining the volunteer facilities (tidying up the facilities and making sure there is enough coffee etc.). Active and positive approach is essential in this team. Language skills needed: Finnish or English.   

 

Tournament Official 

As a tournament official, you for example supervise the penalty bench or assist in the game timing. Language skills needed: Finnish and fluent English. 

 

Statistics and Scores Team  

This team makes sure all the official match statistics and other data are gathered. This team makes sure that the data is in right form and is available for anyone who needs them soon after each match. Language skills needed: Finnish and fluent English. 

 

Court Program and Ceremony Team  

You are part of the team that makes sure e.g. intermission program and ceremonies run smoothly in correct schedule and make sure the that the people that are taking part in the ceremony arrive in time and walk them to their places. Before the matches you ensure the teams are ready to enter the arena. In the Helsinki Ice Hall (arena 2), there is also need for hall announcer and DJ. Language skills needed: fluent Finnish and English.

 

Media Services Team  

In media services you take part in the media accreditation and assist media guests. You make sure everything works well in the media seating area, media room and mixed zone. You prepare materials for media guests before and after the matches and help the teams where to find the match recordings. You assist the international TV-companies for example with the player interviews. Language skills needed: Fluent spoken and written English, Finnish is a plus. 

 

Communication Team  

You prepare tournament news, announcements and materials to event website and other channels. Communication team also produces content to social media and assists the official TV-production team. Previous experience in communication functions is a plus. Language skills needed: fluent spoken and written Finnish and English. 

 

Brand and Marketing Assistant  

You assist with the branding already during the event construction a few days before the tournament start and of course during the tournament. You make sure everything is according to the official plan when it comes to branding and marketing at the arenas.
Language skills needed: Finnish and English. 
 

 

VIP and Cloakroom Services Team    

You make sure that everything runs smoothly in the VIP areas and take care of the VIP cloakroom services. You welcome the VIP guests, answer their questions and guide them to their seats. You also help with the interviews and other program that is happening in the VIP areas. There are guests coming from different countries, so you feel at home in an international environment and have great customer service skills. Let us know, if you also possess a valid security steward licence. You are at least 18 years old. Language skills needed: Finnish and English.   

  

Team Guide 

As a Team Guide you will help your team with the practical arrangements during the entire tournament and are a crucial link between the team, local organizing committee and the IFF. As a Team Guide you need to have great customer service skills even when working in a fast-paced environment. You need to speak fluent English, but please let us know if you are fluent in some other language or for some other reason would like to act as Team Guide for a specific team. 

 

Referee Services Team  

In this small but efficient team, you make sure the referees have the best possible circumstances during the tournament. You have great customer service skills even when working in a fast-paced environment. Language skills needed: Finnish and English.  

 

Transportation Team  

You are driving the referees, jury members and IFF members from place to place. Transportation is mainly needed between the Helsinki-Vantaa airport, the hotels and the tournament arenas. As a transportation coordinator, you are in charge of the scheduling and making sure the transportation is executed in the most efficient and ecological way possible. You are at least 18 years old and you have a valid Finnish driving license. Language skills needed: Finnish and English.  

 

First Aid Team 

In the first aid team, you provide first aid to anyone who needs it (spectators, staff, other participants) and make sure that necessary actions are done. You have an applicable education or valid first aid competence (first aid courses completed and valid). Previous experience is a plus. Language skills needed: Finnish and fluent English.     

 

Physician / Doctor 

As a physician you are ready to provide medical assistance to anyone who needs it (e.g. teams, spectators, staff, other participants). You are required to have a degree of Licentiate of Medicine and a license to practice the profession. Previous experience in sports events is a plus. Language skills needed: Finnish and fluent English.     

 

Anti-Doping Assistant  

You assist the Anti-Doping Agency by helping the player to find the right facilitiesDoping Control Officer gives you further instructions. You are the same sex as the athlete to be tested and have no conflict of interest in carrying out their duties. You are male and at least 18 years old. Language skills needed: Finnish and English, mastering other languages is a plus.
