In the second match today at the Red Hall, Poland and Denmark played each other. The Poles were able to win the match and return to the top eight countries.
The Poles entered the match actively and deservedly led 2:0 after the first period. The Danes had chances but couldn’t score from them. On the other hand, Poland added two more goals in the second period. In the third period, a lot of goals were scored. But the Poles never let the lead go. They did some nice actions and increased their lead. In the end, Poland beat Denmark 10:3.
Jan Jaskierski had a big part in Poland’s victory, scoring five points. Poland will be seeded among the top eight teams at the next championship. Tomorrow Poland will play Slovakia for seventh place. The Danes will play Estonia tomorrow for ninth place.
