The Belgians played their first-ever match at the World Junior Championship. At the start of the tournament, they faced Estonia, who confirmed their role as the paper favourite.

The Estonian floorballers defeated Belgium 6:2 thanks to a solid lead from the second period. They responded to Belgian Ruben Vanrampelberg’s goal, which meant the first scoring situation for the championship newcomers. However, Estonia showed better attacking performance and put the important goals to the net.

In the next part of the game, they also enjoyed all the other moments when their national team went in attack and created any chance. But it didn’t bring a win and and Estonia took the points.
