The idea for the ”Stick with it!” floorball material recycling campaign is to collect equipment that can be utilized in the IFF development work. This means that the usable equipment will be delivered to developing countries. If we can organise it (for example juniors from local club/s) we also would like to fix any of the sticks which can be fixed by just changing the blade (it has been discussed that UNIHOC might provide blades). By giving the sticks and goalie equipment a new life we are helping the floorball community and also keeping that material from becoming waste at this point of the life cycle. If the LOC participates they will, of course, get good publicity and we can also discuss if we split the material to also be used for national/local charity.
What needs to be considered:
• Communication plan of promoting the collection
• Defining positions for the collection boxes (see picture attached)
• Reserve space for storing the collected material (if the boxes fill up they need to be
emptied from time to time)
• The possible servicing of the sticks (blade changes) / maybe by supporting local
players/clubs with some tickets (?)
• Transport of the sticks
