International Volunteer Day is celebrated on 5th December worldwidely.

Volunteers are highly important persons in various tasks within different fields all over the world. With their own contribution, volunteers enable several happenings, events etc. Volunteers are willing to give their own time and competence to create something important from their point of view.

Over 400 volunteers work intensively in Men’s World Floorball championships 2020 in Helsinki during the whole tournament. Without these people, this tournament couldn’t be organised. To show appreciation to the volunteers of WFC2020 , the prizes of the best players of every game are presented by tournament volunteers on International Volunteers Day.

In Men’s WFC, one volunteer will be rewarded each day by WFC partner, Fisherman’s Friend.
