The Group Ballot took place Tuesday on Lucia Day the 13th of December.

The host country of Denmark sat the scene for the group ballot and the draw was carried out with the help of Agata Plechan, who is a member of IFF Central Board and Chairman of Athlete’s commission. Furthermore she is the former captain of the Polish national team.

Now the 12 qualified teams together with the four reaming teams have been placed into four groups.

The four teams which are yet to be qualified are mentioned as EUR 1, EUR 2, EUR 3 and EUR 4. These four teams will be written into the group allocation after the European Qualifications which take place the 24th to 28 of January 2023. EUR1 qualification is held in Salzburg, Austria and EUR2 qualification in El Escorial, Spain. The top two teams will book a ticket to Frederikshavn in April. The four teams will be places in the four groups according to their IFF ranking.
