Today, the draw for the IFF Champions Cup on 9 and 10 January, 2021, took place in the AXA Arena in Winterthur, Switzerland.
During the first break of the Swiss national league A match, between HC Rychenberg Winterthur and SV Wiler-Ersigen, the semi-final pairs for the Champions Cup were drawn. These are the semi-final pairs:
Women
Semi-final 1 Pixbo Wallenstam (SWE) – Porvoon Salibandyseura (FIN)
Semi-final 2 Piranha Chur (SUI) – 1. SC TEMPISH Vítkovice (CZE)
Men
Semi-final 1 SC Classic (FIN) – Technology Florbal Mladá Boleslav (CZE)
Semi-final 2 IBF Falun (SWE) – SV Wiler-Ersigen (SUI)
The teams from the world champion and runner-up countries were already set as number one and two. Therefore, the women’s teams Pixbo Wallenstam (Sweden) and Piranha Chur (Switzerland), and the men’s teams Classic (Finland) and IBF Falun (Sweden) could not play against each other in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will take place on Saturday, 9 January, the finals and matches for 3rd place will be played on Sunday, 10 January.
