The first game for NFFR and Norway ended gave us another high-scoring game.

Todays game was very tough, so we take each game as it comes, but our goal is to reach the quarterfinals, said Rikke Hansen after the final whistle.

The first period between NFFR and Norway would be an exciting one. Norway took the lead after 9 minutes via a goal by Rikke Hansen. However, NFFR would score 2 goals in the first period, both by Mariaa Kitaeva give NFFR the lead heading into the second period.

In the second period, we would see the lead switch back in favor of Norway. With two goals, one by Julie Gidske and the second by Karen Farnes, Norway once again had the lead. The end result of this period would see Norway heading into the least period one goal up.

In the third period Norway would add goals to their lead, not only once or twice, but with four goals. Two of these goals were by Rikken Hansen which made her score three goals in today’s game. NFFR would score once again, but it was too late, the game ended with 3 goals for NFFR and 7 for Norway.
