Estonia gains a clear win in group D
Estonia – Singapore game was dominated by Estonia’s players. #7 Roman Pass makes a beautiful score already in the second minute of the game. After that, Estonia kept delivering the ball into Singapore’s net one after another. #77 Thaddeus Tan makes both of Singapore’s two goals, but that couldn’t help the team to get in the game.
Estonian player #8 Patrik Kareliusson was the scorer of the game, he made five goals and gave three assists. With this win, Estonia took a clear 1st place in group D.

Canada rocked the boat of Philippines
Canada and Philippines presented a fast-paced game. Philippines fought hard, but Canada was stronger. #88 Brandon Barber was chosen as the best player from team Canada. He made four goals and gave three assists. Also #91 Valtteri Viitakoski was in a mood of making goals, he scored in opponent’s net five times.
Philippines participate in the Mens’ World Championships for the first time and have now two loses and one win behind.

Poland wins big
Poland was sovereign against USA today. In the last game of group C, team Poland secured the second place. Poland used effectively the places they got to score. Goalkeeper #91 Maciej Bogdański kept his goal clean. USA couldn’t get many chances to break the Poland’s defense.
USA changed their goalkeeper for the last period, but that couldn’t stop Poland for making more scores. #11 Michal Sieńko was the best player from Poland with two goals and tree assists.

Sweden was on fire against Denmark
Sweden gets their second win in group A against Denmark. Sweden got a one day rest after their previous game, and the players were again ready to score hard. Denmark didn’t have much to say against such a strong opponent. #10 Albin Sjögren scored 2 goals of the Sweden’s 15 goals.
#14 Lukas Eldholm and #21 Mikkel Skov Nielsen were responsible for the Denmark’s only goal in this game.

Switzerland secures the first place in group B
The game was quite tight in the first two periods, but then Switzerland took a clear lead in the last part of the game. They scored five goals in Germany’s net in the third period. #25 Christoph Meier continued scoring like in the previous games and he made two of Switzerland’s goals today.
Switzerland’s defense was good enough. The opponents couldn’t get many opportunities to score and the result was two goals in total. With this third win, Switzerland secured them the first place in their group.

Czechia got a strong start
Czechia took its second win by beating Norway. The game was tough, even though Czechia could make more goals. The first period was ruled by Czechia, but during the second and the third period also Norway got more chances to rule the ball. #15 Jakub Gruber was the best scorer with two goals, #27 Ondrej Vitovec was awarded as the best player from Czechia.
Team Czechia secured them the second place in group B.
