Second game of the day between Canada and Philippines offered a lot of goals at both ends. The game ended with Canada’s victory 13–8 (6–3, 4–3, 3–2). Top players of the game were Canada’s Brandon Barber (4+3) and Philippines’s Melvin Alm Mendoza (3+1).

Canada’s Brandon Barber #88 said that they played well and he was satisfied with the team’s effort. Barber added that he loves to play alongside Valtteri Viitakoski. He explained that they found each other on the field and it shows on the scoreboard.

Philippines Melvin Alm Mendoza #24 told that he’s very happy to take part in the World Floorball Championships and he’s proud of the whole team. Mendoza said that taking part in the WFC is the greatest accomplishment so far in his life.
