The Men’s World Floorball Championships will be held in Helsinki in December. Based on the IFF’s decision last September, the tournament was postponed by a year due to the COVID pandemic.

The postponement lead also to some updates in the match schedule, with key changes involving the schedules of Team Sweden and the host, Finland. Team Finland plays its preliminary round matches during the first three days of the tournament and Sweden’s match against Denmark – originally planned for Sunday – will be played on Monday, the 6th of December.

Tickets go on sale next Tuesday – attendance targets remain high

Ticket sales for the tournament’s preliminary round and quarter-finals will begin next Tuesday. In addition to daily tickets, a ticket package covering the entire opening weekend is available, including a total of 18 top matches. The ticket packages for the final weekend at Hartwall Arena, which were released earlier, are available as usual. At the moment, a little over half of the Final Weekend’s tickets have been sold.

”Preparations for the tournament are progressing normally with a view that we will be able to hold the games in December without audience restrictions. In any case, we will be giving special consideration to health and safety issues during the tournament in order to ensure a unique experience for players, spectators, and volunteers alike. Where circumstances necessitate changes to arrangements, we will react quickly”, explains Event Director Hanne Pirkola.

VIP Tickets are also already available for all days. See more information here!
