Fifth place Men’s U19 WFC in Brno goes to the Latvians, who beat the Germans 8:1 in the clash of the third teams from the A and B groups. The Latvians were the better team at the start of the match and it was only a matter of time before they took a comfortable lead.

After the first period, it was only 1:0, but in the middle part, Latvia scored three goals. The lead only increased and they won by seven goals. The only German goal was even an own goal. Two goals were scored by Ralfs Polis and Jorens Malkavs.
