The third day of Men’s u19 WFC in Brno offered a lot of interesting matches. The last ticket to the semi-finals was won by the Czechs, who crushed Latvia 12:2. The battle for 1st place in the group went better for Sweden, who defeated Switzerland 7:1. The Swedes will challenge the home team in the semi-finals.
Finland and Slovakia scored the most goals in the opening match of the day. The Finns eventually won 13:4. They will play Switzerland tomorrow for a place in the final. In the battle for third place in Group B, the Germans showed a turnaround to take third place in the group.
In Group D, Austria secured their first win of the tournament, beating Italy 5-2. First place in Group C went to the Estonians, who beat Hungary 8-2 today. The Slovenians finished second, they also won their match today. Between the first and the second team, the score was decisive, which played in Estonia’s favour.
