2024

1/2024 – A Complaint regarding financial misconduct in a National Association. As the ETC had no jurisdiction, this complaint, with the consent of the Complainant, was sent to the IFF Secretary General.
2/2024 – ongoing
3+4/2024 – Several anonymous complaints that seemed to be connected but did not contain enough information to judge whether the ETC had jurisdiction and whether a breach of the IFF Ethics Code had occurred,. Due to the lack of information the cases had to be closed.

2023

In 2023, the ETC received four complaints. One was about a struggle between an IFF-affiliated National Association and a competing association in the same country; two complaints were regarding Floorball officials from the national, regional and/or the club level who were not bound by the IFF Code of Ethics, as the incidents were not related to their participation in IFF events.   The ETC had no jurisdiction in all three cases. The fourth case in 2023 led to the following IFF statement:

All participants, including athletes and officials, of the importance of respect. It is a core ethical principle. Referees, in particular, have a difficult and challenging task which deserves our respect and support, even when we disagree with them. Disrespectful or harassing comments made on social media harms not only the individual, but the entire sport of Floorball.”
