General Event Information

At Special Olympics Sweden Invitational Games 2020, there were Floorball competitions in the following events:

• Team Competition – Female
• Team Competition – Male/Mixed
• Unified Sports Team Competition – Male/Mixed

For Special Olympics the game is slightly modified and matches are played on a smaller court, 3 versus 3 with goalkeepers.

On 1st February, divisioning matches were played to determine the groups. Group competition was played on 2nd & 3rd February with the finals and prize ceremony on 4th February.

Floorball was a demonstration sport at the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Korea. It was also part of the World Winter Games in Austria in 2017.

Other sports during the event are Alpine skiing, Cross country skiing, Figure skating, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, & Speed skating. For more information visit the event website
