On Saturday, 26 September, the draw ceremony for the IFF Champions Cup 2021 will take place during a Swiss Championship match in Winterthur. The event will be livestreamed on the IFF YouTube Channel.
The best women’s and men’s teams from Switzerland, Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic will be playing for the title at the Champions Cup on 9 and 10 January, 2021 in Winterthur: SV Wiler-Ersigen and Piranha Chur from Switzerland, IBF Falun and Pixbo Wallenstam from Sweden, Classic and Porvoon Salibandyseura (PSS) from Finland and Technology Florbal Mladá Boleslav and 1. SC TEMPISH Vítkovice from the Czech Republic.
During the first break of the Swiss national league A match, between HC Rychenberg Winterthur and SV Wiler-Ersigen, the semi-final pairs for the Champions Cup will be drawn. This match is being played in the Champions Cup venue, AXA Arena, on 26th September, starting at 6pm. The draw can be watched live on the IFF YouTube Channel.
The teams from the world champion and runner-up countries are already set as number one and two and can therefore not play against each other in the semi-finals. These are the women’s teams Pixbo Wallenstam (Sweden) and Piranha Chur (Switzerland), and the men’s teams Classic (Finland) and IBF Falun (Sweden). The finals and matches for 3rd place will be played on Sunday, 10 January.
