Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?
Renewed and young team with great potential, enthusiasm and passion for floorball. The team has been training hard and will give it their all to try to qualify for the World Championships and duplicate their victory from last summer when they beat Team USA to qualify for the World Games.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#5 Elise Van Thielen – Young player with strong floorball experience in Belgium and Sweden, Elise has a great technique, a dangerous shot and an outstanding game vision.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#18 Rylee Bourgaize – Skilled, experienced and highly committed player from Ottawa, Rylee is the captain of our national team and a reliable leader of our defense.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#97 Meghan Jefferies – Talented and highly motivated player, Meghan can play at any position and impose her physical force on all corners of the field.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best and why?
#13 Claire Wright – A rock in defense, Claire who comes from Montreal, always has a positive attitude & a smile, never gives up and demonstrates great sportsmanship at all times.
USA
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?
We are excited to put forth a squad with great experience, heart, and drive. USA has a lot to prove this qualifier after a loss to Canada in August of 2024. We are coming together in full force on our home turf to set the record straight with the goal of advancing to the WFC. Our players, coaching staff, and team managers have been working hard on building team chemistry and court strategy. This close knit squad is ready to give the crowd three hard fought games.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#24 Klara Kyrk Gere – This will be Klara Kyrk Gere’s second international event with Team USA. She is a young, strong, and aggressive player. Her skillset offers extremely accurate and quick passes matched by a powerful shot on goal. Klara’s dexerity combined with her speed and court-sense make her a very dangerous competitor. We expect great things from her.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#14 Tiffany Gerber – Tiffany Gerber is the backbone of this team and has been on the roster since its inception. She has strong court-sense, great stick skills, and a cool head in tense situations. She will fight hard to win or mainain possession until the whistle blows.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#24 Ester Angerstig – Ester Angerstig is a quiet but strong leader in our defensive end. She has really honed her skills as a floorball player and an athlete throughout her time with Team USA since joining in 2018. She has great stick skills and does not relent.

#13 Catherine Lovitt – Catherine Lovitt demonstrates #FairFloorball the best on our team. She is respectful, exudes great sportsmanship, and is fair to all. She helps to drive the positivity and create a deeper connection our team as a whole.
