After finishing second in Group C and qualifying for the play-offs at the Men’s World Floorball Championships in Malmö, Sweden, the Philippines have now officially qualified for The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.
Philippines played their last group stage game today against Canada and the 4-3 win secured them the second spot in Group C. This also means that the Philippines will continue to the play-offs at World Floorball Championships 2024 and have already secured their best placement in the World Floorball Championships. Their previous results are from 2022 when they finished 15th and from 2020 (played in 2021) when they made it to 14th place. Their journey in the play-offs starts tomorrow with a match against Latvia.
As they will be the highest placed Asia-Oceania Team in this event, they have now officially qualified for The World Games 2025. Congratulations!
