The 15th Men’s World Floorball Championships will take place from 7th — 15th December in Malmö, Sweden. Norway, 2022 silver medalists Czechia, Germany and Switzerland form Group A.

This team is striving to become better every day and in the future become the best of what this team can be. We will play to our best abilities and work hard in every match.

#3 Daniel Gidske has a lot of experience from many previous WFC’s. Our Captain and leader.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2024?
The Czech national team is two years more experienced. Coach Jaroslav Berka has incorporated several new faces into the lineup who play important roles in their clubs. The team again combines experience with young players, who have also already played a number of big matches.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#35 Marek Beneš – He is a world-class forward who has already proven his quality at previous championships. He is very strong on the ball, he is adorned with his physical game and he can correctly assess situations – whether it is better to pass or finish.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#71 Ondřej Němeček – Currently one of the best defenders in the world. His physical play makes it hard for opponents to get past him. Moreover, he can support the offense very well and he manages power plays from the point, where he regularly shows the hardness of his shot.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#9 Adam Hemerka – You simply don’t want to play against this physically very developed player. He has grown into one of the most respected defenders in recent years and his tough play, but within the rules, has already been recognized by many opponents.
Who is your face-off champion?
#28 Matěj Jendrišák – A very experienced floorball player who gives the national team not only experience, but also calmness and confidence. Moreover, the national team can rely on his skillful hands and winning face-offs at key moments.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2024?
After playing a quite successful WFC 2022 we had a couple of changes in our line up since some players ended their floorball career, but we could bring in some young and really talented players. Our goal will be always to be at least in top 8. But we are ready to surprise and could develop especially in last months a lot!

#32 Tino von Pritzbuer – strong in both ways, smart player and a good leader

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2024?
After finishing in 4th place the last two WFC´s we are ready to fight for winning a medal again. We have a young and hungry team with 12 players playing their first WFC.
