The Floorball Fit For Future (4F) Erasmus+ project has reached a new milestone with the core project also continuing.
The Erasmus+ project Floorball Fit for Future had its latest meeting from the 13th to 15th of January in Zurich. The project has been concentrating on a federation development matrix and the first draft should be finalised by the end of March 2023.
After the matrix is finalised, the participating nations; Germany, Poland, Slovakia and Spain will evaluate the matrix in their own organisations and then give the feedback to the project group, which will have the next evaluation meeting in May.
— The work has been challenging but also very rewarding at the same time and the most important thing is that we in the project see this to be very useful in the future for Floorball federations all over the world, not only in Europe, says Mr. Veli Halonen, the IFF Operations Manager, who represents IFF in the project.
— I think that also other sports federations might benefit for the project. Sport is sport no matter where in the world you go and the same challenges and same problems, as well as many same outcomes exists all over the globe, he concludes.
The project is led by the Czech Floorball Union and the participating Floorball federations are: Denmark, Finland, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
