The IFF Floorball Championships Cup will take place during the upcoming weekend in Lempäälä, Finland. The matches are played at Bläk Boks in the Lempäälä Ideapark shopping mall.
Four teams are playing for the Women’s CC title: FBC Ostrava (CZE), TPS (FIN), Kloten-Dietlikon Jets (SUI) and Thorengruppen IBK (SWE).

Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2023?
Our team is a balanced mix of experienced players in their prime and fierce youth. We achieved the Czech championship title last season through long-term work and gradual steps. Success at the Champions Cup is the next successive goal for us.

Team rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
#24 Linda Pudišová (2003) is one of the top young players in the central Europe. She has already played in two adult Women’s World Championships thanks to her game reading skills, technique and maturity.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#66 Michaela Mlejnková is our most experienced player with countless matches in the women’s national team and with many shooting records. Her performance on and off the field earned her the captain’s armband.
Most skilful player?
Thanks to her golden hands and excellent mind, #18 Paulína Hudáková is the record holder in the number of points at the Women’s World Championships and she entertains the audience in every match with her tricks.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best?
Goalkeeper #75 Veronika Tomšová knows how to give and receive, and even if the situation in the goal area is sometimes difficult for her, she always manages to keep the game exactly on the fair line. This is also reflected in her professional life, where she is completing her studies in psychology.

Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2023?
A long wait is over. After missing the cancelled Champions Cup in our home country last year, we can now finally again lineup at the tournament of the best club teams. But a lot has changed. The team is much younger then before but also at the same time more hungry again. A new experience awaits many players. We aim to show the best we can on day X.

Describe your team, and what we should expect from your team during Champions Cup 2023?
Team Thorengruppen can most easily be descibed as a team that wishes to play creative and offensive floorball. A good mixture of well-established players, hungry talent and most notably, a lot of players who can’t wait to play a crucial role in big games. During CC you can expect us to play a spectator friendly, entertaining and offensive floorball, but most significally to be the team that thrives on winning new titles and is hungry to lift the CC-trophy!

#5 Mathilda Ekenlinde. A player who has grown a lot since her first debut in Thoréngruppen. She is a key player in our defence and is a player who makes her surroundings better. She also has amazing skills and capacity to break through any player that stands in her way.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#26 Emelie Wibron is the definition of a leader, both on and off the field. She shows the way on the field and puts a lot of time and effort on bringing the entire squad together.
Most skilful player?
#28 Veera Kauppi. A complete entertatiner and a person who alone can play a decisive role in any game.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best?
The player that demonstates #FairFloorball the most is #11 Maja Viström. She is a great team player and not least a player that shows great sportsmanship regardless of situation, game or opponent.
