The participation numbers in floorball events is rising. The Central Floorball League of Burkina Faso was recently held and 50% more teams in the U17 category signed up for this tournament.

The best teams of each category qualified for the National Championship 2022 which will be held around beginning of August 2022. The Central Floorball League event was very successful including a new record in teams and players. Furthermore, the event was visited by several politicians and TV was producing a news story about the event and what floorball is.

There were each six teams in the U17 categories for girls and boys. The top four teams qualified for the National Championship tournament:

The organisers were very happy about the performance of all 200 players. The games were tight and sometimes fierce but always played in good and fair sportsmanlike manner.
