The 10th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships will be played in Katowice, Poland from 31st August to 4th September 2022. The event will be played in two arenas: Szopienice Arena and Brynów Arena.

The event will be played with 16 teams divided into four groups. They will play group matches followed by play-off and placement games. The 16 teams have been decided according to results from U19 WFC 2020 as well as the U19 WFCQ held in September 2021. Due to the exceptional circumstances in the event planning, the groups have been decided based on ranking, not by group ballot.

Since Russia are currently suspended from all international Floorball activities, as per the decision of the IFF Central Board on 1st March 2022, they will not participate in this event and are replaced by Italy.

— We are very happy and proud to organize such an important event as U19 WFC. Due to the change of the host of the event, the time for preparation is really short. However, we are working hard and I am sure it will be a great event. I would like to invite everyone to Katowice at the turn of August and September, says the Event Director Michał Karski.
